My Daughter Vanished with the Babysitter—The AirTag Led Me to the Airport

I came home expecting to find my daughter Lily and her babysitter Jessica safe, but the house was empty and silent. Panic set in when I couldn’t reach Jessica. Then I remembered the AirTag in Lily’s backpack — the app showed they were at the airport.

I raced there and found Jessica, my ex Daniel, and his awful mother Brenda. They planned to take Lily out of state without telling me. Brenda acted like she was doing me a favor, but I knew it was kidnapping.

Airport security got involved. Jessica apologized, saying she’d been misled. Daniel and Brenda tried to downplay it, but they’d crossed a line.

With Lily safe in my arms, I knew this wasn’t over. They thought I’d back down — they have no idea who they’re dealing with.
