Bush, revealed his intentions at a White House Correspondents’ Dinner afterparty, stating, “If the president wants me, I’ll run. If he wants somebody else, I’ll support that candidate.”

While Jennings hasn’t officially declared, political analysts believe he could be a strong contender, especially with his growing national profile. Over the past year, he has become a leading conservative voice on CNN, known for his debates on “NewsNight with Abby Phillip.” Jennings’ rising visibility led to a contract renewal and pay raise from the network, though he has yet to secure his own show, fueling speculation he may pivot to politics.

Jennings has earned support from conservative figures like radio host Erick Erickson, who praised him as a potential McConnell replacement.
