Real Stories That Prove Karma Always Shows Up (Eventually)

I was just 21 when I proposed to Becky, my girlfriend at the time. It was during a big family gathering. Everyone was watching.

She looked at the ring, wrinkled her nose, and snapped, “Is this all I’m worth?” Loud enough for everyone to hear.

I was crushed.

I walked away, deleted her from my life, and began healing.

Two weeks later, her dad called me in tears. “Son,” he said, “please come see Becky. She’s fallen into a deep depression. She’s now with a man 18 years older. She wants to marry him. We’re begging you to stop her from ruining her life.”

I said nothing. I hung up. Her father, who once treated me like I wasn’t good enough for her, now needed me.

Karma had already answered.
