My mother-in-law gave me an antique sewing machine for my birthday.
It was funny to my husband, but I liked it. He left me for a younger woman five years later, taking our apartment and car with him. My mother-in-law called and invited me over after finding out about my predicament. Then she disclosed that her grandmother had left genuine diamonds concealed inside the sewing machine. She offered me a place to stay and apologized for her son’s behavior. Unbelievably, we used the money from the diamonds to purchase a home in France. She is a truly amazing woman.
