My FIL Got Rid of My Beloved Flower Garden & Dug a Pool for Himself without Permission – But K.a.r.ma Hit Him Back Harshly

When my father-in-law Richard bulldozed my garden for an unauthorized pool, I was furious. I’m Linda, a 40-year-old teacher, and that garden was my sanctuary. Richard moved in after his wife passed away and, over time, became unbearable. One day he suggested a pool. I refused—my garden meant everything to me. We left for the weekend, and when we returned, my garden was gone—ripped apart, a giant hole in its place. Richard stood there, grinning.

Tom, my husband, was livid. “You destroyed everything she loved!” Richard shrugged it off. But karma was waiting.

Our neighbor, Mrs. Jensen, saw the mess and called her friend—the city inspector. Turns out Richard had violated zoning laws and lacked permits. He was fined and forced to fill the hole. As contractors worked, they hit an old pipe, flooding the yard. Richard slipped in the mud, his suit ruined, his dreams gone.

In the end, Richard paid for everything—fines, repairs, cleanup. My garden is blooming again, and Mrs. Jensen is now a dear friend. Richard? He avoids any mention of pools.

Moral: Disrespecting someone’s hard work for your own selfish plans? Karma might just turn your dream into a muddy disaster.
