Secret Service Agents Brawl Outside Obama’s D.C. Home
Around 2:30 a.m., two female Secret Service officers got into a physical altercation just outside former President Obama’s Washington, D.C. home, according to RealClearPolitics reporter Susan Crabtree. One of the agents, frustrated over a late shift replacement, reportedly called her supervisor, saying: “Come immediately before I whoop this girl’s ass.”
Although the fight didn’t wake the Obamas or their neighbors, it triggered internal concern over professionalism within the agency. The incident comes amid broader scrutiny of the Secret Service following last year’s near-assassination attempt on Donald Trump.
Critics argue that recent diversity-focused hiring practices have weakened standards. Others point to long-standing issues like low morale and staffing shortages as the real root of the agency’s internal instability.
As of now, it remains unclear whether any disciplinary actions will be taken against the two officers involved.
The agency has not released an official statement, but insiders say the altercation is under investigation.
