The waitress noticed a man slowly sliding down his chair and disappearing under the table, while the woman sitting across from him remained calm and unfazed.
Puzzled, the waitress kept watching. The man vanished completely beneath the table, yet the woman showed no reaction.
After finishing another table’s order, the waitress approached and gently said, “Ma’am, I think your husband just slid under the table.”
The woman looked up, composed, and replied, “No he didn’t. He just walked in the door.”
