Seventeen-year-old Pheobe Bishop has been missing since May 15, 2025. She was last seen at Bundaberg Airport at 8:30 a.m., wearing grey sweatpants and a green tank top, carrying luggage, but never boarded her flight.
Pheobe, about 180 cm tall with long red hair, disappeared under suspicious circumstances. Police have seized a grey Hyundai ix35 linked to her, declaring both the car and her home in Gin Gin crime scenes.
Authorities are asking anyone with dash cam or CCTV footage from May 15–18 in Bundaberg or Gin Gin to come forward. The search now includes Good Night Scrub National Park. Several items tied to Pheobe are being tested for clues.
Her mother, Kylie Johnson, shared the emotional strain, noting Pheobe’s last TikTok hinted at family troubles and wanting to leave home. Witnesses say Pheobe appeared stressed and hungry in the weeks before her disappearance.
Guns were found in the Hyundai; her roommate Tanika Bromley was arrested on unrelated weapons charges. Another roommate, James Wood, has been questioned but is not a suspect.
Police continue to investigate and urge the public to share any information to help find Pheobe safely.
