Daddy, don’t drink from that cup, stepmom put something white in it.

“Daddy, don’t drink from that cup—stepmom put something white in it.”
Michael was stunned by his daughter Lily’s warning. Pretending nothing was wrong, he cleverly switched the cups. When Emily returned, insisting he drink the tea she’d prepared, Michael offered her the very same cup. She hesitated. Panicked. Refused.

That’s when Michael confronted her.

Little Lily stepped forward and bravely described what she’d seen—Emily pouring a strange white liquid into his tea from a hidden bottle. The truth unraveled fast: Michael had already suspected foul play. A toxicology report showed arsenic in his system. Emily’s previous husbands? Both dead. Both wealthy. And both insured—with her as the sole beneficiary.

As the police stormed in and arrested Emily for attempted murder, she hissed at Lily, “This is all your fault, you stupid little girl!” But Lily had saved her father’s life.

Later, a detective revealed Emily’s journal—every dose, every plan, even what she intended to do to Lily next.

Michael clutched his daughter tightly, whispering,
“It’s just us now. I’ll protect you always.”
